About Ben

Ben Allen is a tireless learner with a love for people. Raised in Houston, TX, Ben Allen came to Baylor to pursue his passion for political science. Extraverted and proactive, Ben developed his leadership skills through active involvement in the Leadership Living and Learning Community, working as a Line Camp Leader, and serving as an Community Leader (RA) for a floor of 40 young men. His senior year, Ben co-founded the Baylor chapter of Young Americans for Freedom and served as Vice Chairman. His extensive involvement in free speech activism earned him the attention of Baylor, the local news, and the Matt Walsh Show. In addition to contributing to campus life, Ben employed his heart for service as the Volunteer Coordinator for Dream Outside the Box, a nonprofit that mentors economically disadvantaged elementary students through career-oriented programming to encourage them to pursue college later on in life.
